How to Draw an Easy Skull

Step 1.

This is just a sketch to show you different angles on how to draw a skull. The main skull facing frontward will be the tutorial of today. Feel free to add the fangs if you choose. Let's start!

Step 2.

Firstly, draw a large circle. Draw in the facial guide lines afterwards.

Step 3.

Use the facial guide lines to draw out the upside down eye shapes. Color the eyes in once done drawing.

Step 4.

The easiest step of this tutorial, the nose! Draw a soft triangle in the middle guide lines below the eyes for the nose. Just color in the nose once done outlining.

Step 5.

Time for the main feature, the skull head. Draw out the shape of the skull, or thicken the circle guide line you drew in step one. Once the top half of the head is drawn, draw each of the structures of the skulls face shape starting with the temples.

Step 6.

Look, we're almost done! Draw out the shapes of the skull's cheeks, and then draw the shape of the upper jaw. When you sketch out this part of the mouth, be sure to add the grooves for the teeth that will be drawn in the next step.

Step 7.

Lastly, draw out each individual tooth. Take your time when doing this so that each tooth looks even and neat. That's it! We're finished. Just touch up by erasing the guide lines from step 1 and perfect your drawing to your liking. Good job.

Step 8.

This is what the finished easy skull drawing should look like. But don't get discouraged if yours isn't quite like it, just look it over and see what you may have done wrong. Practice makes perfect, never give up!
