How to Draw a Pirate Skull

Step 1.

Begin by drawing a round shape and sketching in the facial guide line.

Step 2.

Now draw in the structure of the brow and cheek bones. Also add detailing to the brow and cheeks.

Step 3.

Start forming the eyes in better detail and form, then draw in the nasal(nose), and lastly add detailing around the eyes and under the nose.

Step 4.

Next, draw in the top row of teeth, add the arches to create the skeletal gum line.

Step 5.

Then, draw the bottom jaw as a very square jaw shape. Add definition to the jaw and draw in the bottom row of cool skull teeth.

Step 6.

After that, draw the back part of the head and draw in the bandanna. Add detailing to the bandanna and don't forget to draw the ruby inside the eye.

Step 7.

Finally, finish the shape for the skull's head and draw that flaring smoke in the back part of the skull as seen above.

Step 8.

Last step guys. Draw the ghostly scarf, color in some holes near the tail end of the scarf. Erase the guide lines from step 1 and fix any mistakes.

Step 9.

A pirate skull well finished. Here it is, cool with total pirate vibes! Perfect this drawing to make your friends drool over your hard work!

Description: So this pirate skull tutorial is one epic looking piece. The colors are so wild and blend nice together. I would say this is for the intermediate artist, but as I say, beginners are always encouraged to try! Results don't happen from the same practice. Ready for a challenge?
