Description: Okay guys, this dragon skull tutorial is probably one of the coolest thus far. It's pretty detailed and requires an experienced artist. But, does not mean a beginner can not give this a go. Always challenge yourself to get better. Anyways, this concept seemed to be a unique idea which would definitely bring friends together in amazement. Ready to draw coolness?
Description: Drawing a dragon skull can go two ways, easy or hard. I tried laying out this tutorial as easy as possible, so if you find that there is a difficult part to the lesson, just keep trying until you get it right. Draw the shapes of the mouth which is open. Then draw out the top of the head shape. Finish by drawing a connecting line for the horn.
Description: Begin sketching out the actual shape of the dragon skull's head structure. Notice how the lining is far from being smooth. Instead there is a lot of uneven lines which is done to add realism and the contours of the dragons skull.
Description: Sketch out the sockets for the eyes, ear, nose, then draw out the shape of the long horn. After, add some detailing to the snout of the skull, and draw in a bunch of sharp teeth from top to bottom.
Description: Now that all the major parts of the dragon skull is drawn out, all is left is to sketch in the long skinny looking tongue that wraps around the bottom jaw. Add more detailing and definition to the skull inside of the sockets, and on the side of the skull. Finally, draw another horn on the tip of the nose.
Description: Finish off your dragon skull by filling in the socket holes, and inside of the mouth. Next, add definition all around the skull bone including cracks, lines, and stripes. Erase the guide lines in step 1 before adding in the details to make a cleaner and neat drawing!
